When I first read in a note that Seattle had an app to notify the city of homeless people so that they can be removed by the police, I mentally categorized that beyond believable.
A quick websearch turned up that this actually appears to be true, even though that app used to be initially intended to notify the city council of street holes and the likes.
Guess we'll need an app to remind people that there is such an emotion called empathy and a virtue called helpfulness. At least let them be.
I am definetely not someone to quote scriptures of any denomination, but ... this one feels utterly appropriate.
In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you.
